You know and I know that when you have blonde hair and it’s frizzy it doesn’t look as good as the stylist at the salon when she does it. So here are some fun tips to help prevent the frizz before you dry your hair:

1. Prestyling efforts are important. Try to towel blot and do not RUB the hair dry. EEEK! That just makes your hair worse or the one I love the most is the turban style of drying. That is also not a favorable effort because the ends where the water is held will have the towel absorb and then they will get dry and frizzy with the scalp still be damp or still wet. So instead try this tip by towel blotting which is squeezing the excess water out of the hair and then take the towel and squeeze at the scalp to get the excess out of there. Then take your product to prevent frizzy such as the Shine Drops from Wella Sebastian put a few drops in your hand add a little water to dilute so it doesn’t feel greasy and apply to the ends first than work it through the hair and scalp area.

2. while drying. rather than let your hair fly all over the place like a tornedo, direct the blow dryer with concenter (that’s on the end of the blowdryer that gives direction) towards the scalp first than take it to the ends. this will prevent your hair from getting frizzed out and knotty.

3. gym time. before sweeping the hair into a tight ponytail, mist your bursh with a leave in conditioner or hair spray. This will keep your hair in place while conditioning and holding it together. To prevent frizz, choose sprays that don’t contain water.

I hope these tips help. If you would like to watch my video from flat to fluffy on you tube, this will teach you how to create some curls with naturally wavy hair. It’s funny and informative.

Hey, are you a Blonde on the run? I started this entire collection of blondes many years ago because I always heard that they were running around doing this and that. So I made  a collection of blondes that are scrumptious and gorgeous.

Basically, I take the color at the scalp and I prelighten the hair so that it looks a little lighter for the spring and summer. Than I take the seasonal highlights technique that is most popular such as the french balyage and french balayage (the are both referenced) as a french way of natural hair painting. Isn’t that cool?

Then we tone the hair to the glorious shade of beach bunny blonde, butterscotch blonde, cowgirl blonde in case you didn’t know is a strawberry blonde. We also have the ash blondes and the platinum diva blondes. So when you are ready for some powerful blonde highlights just call us at ;717.718.4465 or 717.846.4424 or check out the beautiful colors on our website at www.indulgesalon.com/blonde-hair-coloring

Ombre blonde hilites can blend or be bold

May 12, 2011 By: manager Category: Blonde Hair Colors, blonde hilites, french haircutting, hilites

Have you tried the new Ombre hair color technique? this technique will give you interesting dimensional hilites that will enhance your natural or “non natural” hair color. This technqiue can be done bodly with peek a boo lights shining through the darker hair like a veil or you can choose to have a more natural approach that looks like the sun kissed the hair. The concept is the hilites are more around the middle to the ends of the hair. This is not your normal hilite that is positioned on the top of the head. go ahead and try something new today.

We had a client that had a more light golden blonde and we painted on the ombre hair color to really bring more light around the face. We used a lighter pale blonde to give her hair some zest. I just love how it looked when she ran her hands through her hair. So beautiful how the light shined on her hair.

Think about it. It’s different, It’s beautiful.

New Beachy waves/romantic curls done at Indulge Salon

Why not play up your curls by adding some gel to your curl while wet, wrap athe curls around your fingers and set with some clips till dry. When your hair is totally dry, unclip the clips and take some Wella Sebastian Liquid gloss through your hair and sex it up by tossing your hair upside down and shake it out baby! Beautiful romantic curls for the day. If you want to get a second day out of it put it up in an updo.

To expand your hair with some natural looking curls apply styling creme or mousse as Sebastian Forte to give more support to your hair when using a curling iron. We suggest a 1″ or more curling iron for long hair and wrap the 1″ curling iron around your hair vertical meaning up and ddown which gives more volume. If the hair is over blonded utilize the Sebastian Trililant to protect the hair that has been processed and over blown dried. If you can visualize a spiral is how you want the hair to look. Let the hair cool and then shake it out or individually separate the curl.  Then spray with the Sebastian Spray Forte.

Sexy Blonde hair from short to long this spring

French pixies are adorably popular this spring. Are you ready?

Scarlett Johansson is a major trendsetter with her layered bob with flicked up ends and slight wave that flows with the breeze. As a stylist, it looks like you have laid on your her and then you fluff it up when you get up from a nap. Other bobs are totally appear straight one length on the sides (but really they are layered from the interior) and back with the fitted straight bang. very sleek. Or try on a Keira Knightley luscious bob that flows longer towards the front of the face no bangs.

The bob will have a more casual feel using soft products for movement. Strong lines with an inside layers that are tighter at the bottom.

Ombre hair color is one of the coolest techniques that I’ve done. This is more of a phased in color that is lighter on the ends that move toward the top of the head. Gorgeous! Gives a sunlightened feel.
